Here's what the current policy set says about paid time off. Note that accrual and year-end handling are governed by the 2026 PTO Policy, while the client-billed exception is defined in the engagement SOW.
Accrual in the first year
Full-time employees accrue 15 days (120 hours) of PTO in their first year, earned at 10 hours per month beginning on the first of the month after start date. Accrual rises to 20 days after 3 years and 25 days after 6 years of continuous service.
Year-end rollover
Employees may carry over up to 5 unused days into the next calendar year. Anything above that is forfeited on December 31 unless a manager files a carryover exception by mid-December.
“Balances above the cap do not pay out on separation except where required by state law.” So the 5-day cap is the practical planning number.
The Veterans Association exception
Staff billed to the Veterans Association engagement follow a modified schedule: PTO must be coordinated against the delivery calendar in the SOW, and blackout windows apply during the two milestone deliveries in Q2 and Q4. The accrual rate is unchanged — only scheduling is constrained.
